RootsTech Begins

First thing Thursday morning (Mountain Time), RootsTech kicks off it’s biggest conference yet. This is a unique conference in that it looks at genealogical research and storytelling from a technical perspective. This conference provides lots of inspirational and how to information on the digital tools that can help make your research, writing and production efforts easier.

You don’t have to make the trip to Salt Lake City to participate. An impressive number of the presentations will be broadcast live on the Web and the course materials for each course are available for anyone to download. You’ll find the broadcast presentations at http://rootstech.org/about/videos and the syllabus material is right there too.

Don’t worry if you aren’t able to watch a presentation live. Recordings of each broadcast presentation is also posted to the site at the end of each day. Right now, you can even view last year’s live broadcasts on the video page.
